next stop los angeles. my brother christian, who lives in la, came to meet us in san diego on our last day there. we drove up to la where i spent the next six days with him and his wife. jacob had a med school interview at loma linda (which was the original purpose of this trip) so he came and met us in la a few days after i got there. i was so happy when he finally arrived!!! we spent this whole day at the beach and then headed over to mulholland drive. it is a gorgeous long road that leads from the ocean to the highway. genius. not to mention how many movie stars live along this little drive...we drove to the top of it, and hiked up a bit to a amazing lookout point with a 360 view of all of los angeles. it was awesome.

 it was a fabulous trip with a few of my favorite people. thank you to the cannons for graciously hosting me in san diego for the week. i loved every single second of it. and so did my camera.

because im obsessed.

 you know i will post more tomorrow. and then on to los angeles.

oh san diego. part ??

i am sorry to inform i am not yet done posting about my recent trip to california. i just returned late tuesday night after ten days in the land i love. {i was born and raised in california so every time i return- i drool over it nonstop- and can not handle the fact that i have to leave it again. why i ever left in the first place; i am still trying to figure out.} i made three videos while there, took about 4,379 pictures and was completly in heaven. the 85 degree weather, constant in and out and ice cream may have had something to do with it. either that or the palm trees, sand and waves. hard to say.

sun for the soul .san diego part two.

as i mentioned i have been in san diego all week with my brother and his darling little family. i could not get enough of my sweet niece and nephew. as you can tell. i do not get to see them as much as i would like as they live in washington dc. i took 254 pictures of them this particular day in the sun. had to choose my favs to share. not easy when we are dealing with these little faces. nothing better than an escape to the sun with a few of your favorite people. husband arrives tomorrow and on to los angeles to visit my other brother and his cute wife. and another medical school interview here we come...
